Things Running Through My Head, Wednesday Edition.

Written by sally @ 9:13 am — Section: sally

1. The insufferable backpack from Dora singing, “Backpack, backpack. Backpack, backpack.”
2. Rhys Ivans saying, “You daft prick” from the near-end of Notting Hill. Ivans saying this starts in motion the essential-to-any-romantic-comedy chase scene set to “Gimme Some Lovin'” by the Spencer Davis Group.
3. “I’m Getting Nuttin’ for Christmas.” All of it.

I’ve spent entire days walking around singing, “I’m the map, I’m the map, I’m the map, I’m the map, I’M THE MAAAAAP!” OMFG. Want to stab whoever came up with that.

I hate that bossy girl and her cousin Diego. All they do is yell at kids to do stuff. And they never say please.

The map is way worse than the backpack, that’s for sure. I find Dora tolerable only when I imagine that she is a slow kid and the map and backpack feel sorry for her. That’s why Boots doesn’t punch her when can’t find her way out of a paper sack and can’t remember what tool one would use to find a way out.

At least it isn’t the Max and Ruby song or Yo Gabba Gabba. When I get Yo Gabba stuck in my head, I feel that I am reverting back to a rave in the early 90s fully expecting Makauley Caulkin from Party Monster to show.
