The Disembodied Puppy Head, or How Lulu Spent Her Sunday.

So yesterday Lulu and Ziggy, the puppy next door, put their heads together and came up with a plan.

They decided that each of them would dig a hole at an agreed-upon location by the fence that separates our yards, and when the holes were big enough, Ziggy would put her head under so that they could howl and bark and bite and lick each other. It worked pretty well, at least until Larry discovered the plan and covered up Lulu’s work. 20 minutes later they’d agreed upon another location, which is where I took these pictures.


This last one kills me.

    My favorite part is when Lulu would run around in a circle in the perfect patch of dirt we are growing in the backyard, run up to Ziggy, and kick HUGE clouds of dirt in her face filling her mouth and ears. Delicious, delicious dirt!
